one piece ch 1122

one piece ch 1122 has been released a long time ago. When the vegapunk’s broadcast end with saying “JoyBoy”. The Emeth also referred as “The Iron Giant” pulled the knot inside of him and the “Conqueror’s Haki” stored inside him got exposed. This Haki split the whole sky in two and all the marines got fainted and the vice-admirals face difficulties with the haki.

The Elders got forcefully pushed back by the haki, you won’t believe it was the strongest haki ever in the One Piece History. The Imu Sama got trembled with fear by the haki and say the name “JoyBoy”.

JoyBoy’s Haki scared Imu after the void war. Even though it was 800 years ago still it made the Imu trembed with fear.

So let’s start with the One Piece Theory-

After over 20 years of anticipation, JoyBoy has finally made his first official appearance in the One Piece manga. One Piece ch 1122 is the latest chapter.

When Vegapunk’s broadcast has ended while his broadcast confirmed that JoyBoy also have the same powers as the Luffy holds. He was the first ever pirate in the history of the world who goes to the seas. He was also so influential that his death marked the end of the war, even though World Government wants their hand above JoyBoy’s Devil Fruit Hito Hito No Mi referred as Sun God Model Nika.

As we talk above about how JoyBoy’s Haki scared the sh*t of Imu Sama in one piece ch 1122. But the question rise that How does the Imu Sama knows JoyBoy’s Haki felt like? Because it is confirmed that each person’s haki has its uniques signature— remember how Luffy’s crew instantly identified him in Gear 5 during the Wano arc? The people who weren’t as close to Luffy, however, could not tell where the powerful Haki was from. This personal connection is key to sensing specific Haki.

Although the chapter is yet to be officially released, One Piece Fans have started formulating their theories that JoyBoy and Imu has a special, deep and personal bond. Which means Imu is something like a family to JoyBoy. But as we know that the parallels between JoyBoy and Luffy are undeniable. But, wait…wait…wait… which means what if Imu was to JoyBoy what Zoro is to Luffy – his trusted vice captain?

Imu as JoyBoy’s fallen Vice-Captain?

Throughout One Piece, Oda has consistently portrayed the bond between a captain and their second-in-command as something nearly sacred: Roger and Rayleigh, Kaido and King, Kid and Killer and of course, Luffy and Zoro. These partnerships aren’t just about hierarchy; they’re forged in the fires of shared dreams, battles, and unwavering loyalty.

In One Piece, Vice-Captain is something like yours the bedrock of the crew standing tall even when the seas get rough for example your Dark King Rayleigh’s undying loyalty to Roger’s memory, King’s fanatical devotion to Kaido — Oda has shown fans time and again that these bonds don’t break easily.

So What if Imu is something like the Vice-Captain of JoyBoy? It would be a betrayal an “original sin” that could explain about the deep grudge against JoyBoy. Maybe Imu got jealous of JoyBoy’s growing legend. Upon his betrayal, it shaped the whole world we see in One Piece today.

This theory doesn’t just make Imu a more complex villain — it sets up a mirror for the current Strawhats crew. As Luffy and his crewmates face the consequences of this ancient betrayal, they’re not just fighting for the future; they’re grappling with the ghosts of a friendship gone terribly wrong. Now that’s the kind of layered storytelling Oda excels at, and it’s why this theory about Imu and JoyBoy’s past relationship is so compelling.

The idea of a betrayal at the highest level of the ancient world government adds layers of complexity to the One Piece narrative. It would explain the extreme measures taken to erase history, the fear surrounding JoyBoy’s legacy, and the enduring conflict between those who seek to maintain the current world order and those fighting for freedom and change .
